What was formerly a Cineplex movie theatre, is now a fully operational and state of the art Playdium. This Location is Cineplex’s most ambitious location yet. Taking the best elements from other locations and reinventing them all into one! Located at Highway 410 and Steeles Avenue in Brampton, ON, the space embodies 41,000 sf.
of usable space and includes everything from state of the art video games, rope courses and a 60-foot zip line to a bowling area, a food bar and a virtual reality section. In just 28 weeks, Rochon Building Corporation converted the dated movie theatre into a spectacular and versatile space.
Included in the process, was the construction of a raised floor platform, which required the installation of a structural stud and steel deck system in order to build up from below grade cinema rooms. Additionally, Rochon revitalized the exterior precast walls and introduced a brand new storefront system.
