Rochon Building Corporation had the unique privilege to work on the first-ever commercial buildings to go directly under the Gardiner Overpass located at Lakeshore and Bathurst.

Rochon completed four commercial buildings at the base of two new residential towers in Toronto’s downtown core. We capitalized on our experience working in challenging spaces, requiring adherence to strict schedules and site management.

Extending beneath the Gardiner Expressway, these buildings required new foundations and structural steel tied in to existing structural components, their exteriors incorporated alluring terracotta finishes, custom panels and siding, and a sloped roof.
