Rochon constructed four commercial buildings for Capital Developments beneath the Gardiner Expressway at Lakeshore and Bathurst. The work introduced commercial premises into a constrained urban setting at the base of two residential towers.

New foundations and structural steel had to connect with existing structural components. Terracotta finishes, custom panels, siding and a sloped roof completed the exterior. The construction challenge was the relationship between new commercial space and the infrastructure surrounding and above it.
