Rochon fitted out Longo’s within a former railway locomotive service shop in Leaside, adapting the historic industrial interior for a full grocery operation. The store brings together bakery, deli, cheese, meat, seafood and produce departments with preparation rooms, coolers, freezers and receiving space.

Construction required coordination with the separate base-building contractor, including existing slab conditions and the loading and entrance interfaces. The work connected the store’s varied food-service and retail requirements with a retained industrial building, giving the project both a heritage setting and a technically involved grocery fit-out scope.
